VIRVE News introduces efficient communications in rescue operations, the Finnish concept of comprehensive national defence in data admistration, the Defence Forces' support to other authorities, the use of VIRVE in police operations and in social and health sector as well as the upgrade of VIRVE network to level 5.0 in 2010 and later to level 5.5.
